Duplicate bookmark finder
Find links you saved more than once, even with different tracking tags.
Drop a bookmarks export or a list of links
A browser's bookmarks .html, or any text file with links in it. It's read on your device and never uploaded.
What counts as the same link
Links match when they only differ by http or https, “www.”, a trailing slash, a #section, the order of their parameters, or tracking tags like utm_source, fbclid, gclid and si. twitter.com and x.com links count as the same post.
Getting your bookmarks file
Chrome: Bookmark manager (Cmd/Ctrl+Shift+O), the ⋮ menu, then Export bookmarks. Firefox: Bookmarks, Manage bookmarks, Import and Backup, then Export Bookmarks to HTML. Safari: File, Export, then Bookmarks. Or paste any text with links in it.
Nothing leaves your device
The file is read in your browser and never uploaded. The cleaned bookmarks file is built on your device too.
Putting the clean copy back
The cleaned .html keeps the first copy of each link and your folders. Import it into a new folder in your browser, check it, then delete the old bookmarks. Browsers add imports rather than replacing.
